Price Discrimination is good when there is a genuine need for it. It may be unpleasant for certain consumer groups but in a more utilitarian sense, it is still beneficial because it allows certain suppliers to keep running their goods. Overall it improves economic welfare. The Cons of it is that it gives room for the exploitation of different elasticity.
